“If you ask the sun why it shines it would answer, ‘because it is my nature to shine.’” I paint because it is my nature to paint.
There is that “Oh!” moment when I see something or an image pops into my head… then I find there is an image haunting me until I sketch it or paint it. My process goes from “So what?” through many phases to “now I’m happy”. I see my art as a window to a good feeling. I invite the viewer to jouney there too.
